The National Music For The Blind is a Registered Charity, established in 1974 (No.503665) It is entirely independent and run by the Trustees relying solely on Donations.
There are Millions of Recordings in the Archives covering all types of Music, Plays, and Documentaries etc.
A MONTHLY Programme on Cassette is sent FREE OF CHARGE to Visually Impaired Listeners New Members can join Free on recommendation by their GP, Social Services, Health Trust or Blind Societies. The tape service is FREE, including postage. The tapes are sent out each Month by normal post. Listeners are asked to put the tapes back in the post within the month, so they will arrive back with us ready for wiping clean and re-recording. Again, there is no charge to the listener for postage.
LATEST - The Online Library is now taking shape with many full editions of Merry-Go-Round now available. You can either listen online or download to your PC to listen at a your convenience. All recordings are in MP3 format. We are also adding Documentaries, Special Features, Plays, Stories and Music Specials to the online library.
